Confidentiality
If you have found yourself
to be in debt you may be experiencing a range of emotions including
depression, shame, despair and embarrassment. It will take great courage to
contact someone for help.
At the Community Centre for
Debt Advice in Staplehurst we recognise that seeking help is difficult. We
want to ensure that when you do so you feel as safe as possible. For this
reason we do our best to ensure your privacy at all times. Our
confidentiality policy details the code of practice for our advisors,
ensuring that all documents and paperwork regarding your case are securely
stored in a locked environment. Nothing with your name on will be left out
for members of the public to see and your case will never be discussed by
our advisors once they have left the office premises. We will also ensure
that we only contact you by means that have been agreed with you.
