The Community Centre for Debt Advice

With assistance from the national charity Community Money Advice, and using a model tried and tested in many areas of the country, a number of individuals in Staplehurst have come together to help those in the vicinity that are in debt.

The Community Centre for Debt Advice, Staplehurst, is a not-for profit organisation run by un-paid, trained volunteers. There is no charge for getting help from the Centre. No money is obtained by the centre as a result of solving the debt problems of its clients. There are no affiliations with any commercial organisations. The setting and running of the Centre has only been possible as a result of financial support provided by a number of local churches, Staplehurst Parish Council, Maidstone Borough Council and the good-will of many individuals.
